Health and Safety Courses
Workplace health and safety is important for the health and wellbeing of all employees across all industries because human injury or loss in any business is not acceptable. And the last thing we all want is to be the employer whose employee sustains an injury, or worse still, loses an employee in an accident and is then charged with corporate manslaughter. That why the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 was introduced.
Did you know that 30.7 million working days were lost due to work-related illnesses and workplace injury in 2017/18?* It is an employer’s duty to protect the health, safety and welfare of their employees and other people who might be affected by their business. This includes providing sufficient information, instruction and training to employees to allow them to work in a way that does not put themselves or others at risk.
